Drills are the cornerstone of our business. We have a variety of drills available so we can have the right drill for the job.

We have three full-time mechanics, that are experienced in the maintenance and operation of all our drills. With their skills and diagnostic abilities we can provide the maximum up-time to meet the production requirements of our clients.

We also have a driver/mechanic that insure we can have the drills to the job site whenever required.

Tamrock 1500

Pantera 1500 is a hydraulic, self-propelled, self-contained, crawler based surface drilling rig equipped with a cabin and a rod changer. It drills 89 – 140 mm (3 1/2″ – 5 1/2″) vertical, inclined or horizontal holes with 51 and 60 mm (2″ and 2 3/8”) extension rods or 102 -152 mm (4″ – 6″) vertical, inclined or horizontal holes with 76 and 87 mm (3″ and 3 1/2″) tubes. Good results in difficult ground conditions are obtained by using pilot tube drilling, where the first rod is replaced by a 76 or 87 mm (3″ or 3 1/2″) special tube, for hydraulic pumps (two variable displacement pumps) and flushing air compressor. All panel sections can be opened for easy access to service spots. Power pack is mounted crosswise at the rear of the rig to balance the weight of the boom and the feed. Pantera 1500 has an ergonomic and roomy full vision cabin to increase operator’s comfort and efficiency.

Ingersoll-Rand 690

The ECM-690 is a self-contained hydraulic drill capable of producing from 3-1/2 to 5-1/2 in. (89 to 140 mm) diameter holes up to 84 ft. (25.6 m) deep. A 420 CFM @ 150 psig (11.9 m3/min @ 10.3 kg/cm2) IR rotary screw compressor provides superior hole cleaning. A rod changer/carousel holds six 12 ft. (3.7 m) rods and a 14 ft. (4.3 m) starter rod. Intelsense? II drilling automatics optimize hole straightness, accessory life, and performance. An extended guide is available to fit a 24 ft. (7.3 m) starter rod.

Ingersoll-Rand DM50

With a 50,000 lb. (22,700 kg) bit load capability, the DM50/LP is designed for rotary drilling blastholes in the 7-7/8 to 9 in. (200 to 228 mm) diameter range. In addition to the same low-pressure compressor/engine options offered on the DM45/LP, the DM50/LP boasts an XL1200 CFM compressor/engine option. Extended decking provides access to components for ease of maintenance without leaving the deck.

Ingersoll-Rand 570

The ECM-570 hydraulic crawler drill is designed for 2-1/2 to 4 in. (64 to 104 mm) diameter holes. The Montabert drifter and Strata-Sense drill automatics utilized on this drill optimize drilling speed, hole straightness, and accessory life. The ECM-570 provides rotation torque of up to 903 lb-ft. (1,225 N-m) and speeds up to 160 rpm. Feed force is rated 4,406 lbf (19.6 kN). An IR rotary screw compressor provides 245 cfm @ 128 psi (6.9 m3/min @ 9.0 kgf/cm2).
